When will the Award’s next cycle start?
The next cycle of the Fatima bint Mubarak for Motherhood & Childhood Award will be held in 2025. -
Are there expected changes in regards to the awards’ categories?
The Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood continuously develops the Award’s criteria based on previous experiences and experts’ and specialists’ opinions and recommendations. In addition, the Council takes into consideration all feedback received from the public. -
Will new categories be added to the current award categories?
The Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood intends to add a special category for "the best children’s entertainment program and the best children’s game”. The conditions and criteria for this category will be set by relevant specialists. -
What are the main changes planned for the Award?
The major changes will be:
• The Fatima bint Mubarak Motherhood & Childhood Award will become an international award.
• A new platform for global best practices in the field of Motherhood and Childhood will be launched. -
How will the participants' views on the award be obtained?
A survey has been sent to all participants. The feedback will be gathered and analyzed in order to come out with appropriate recommendations for the Award’s development. -
What is the structure and mechanism of evaluating participations for the Fatima bint Mubarak Motherhood & Childhood Award?
The Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood is committed to abide by the rules and principles followed by many awards of excellence, and experienced assessors will handle the evaluation processes. All evaluations will be reviewed and approved by a judging committee. Thereafter, the results will be reviewed and approved by the Award’s Higher Committee. -
What are the target groups for the entries?
All categories are open to Governmental and semi-governmental entities as well as the private sector, and some categories are open to individual participants (such as scientific research and community contributions).
The "First Emirati Child" category is for Emirati (UAE citizen) children. A title granted by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.
